Record Keeping & Data Retention
As per IRDAI guidelines and internal company policy, GoCover follows strict data retention protocols to ensure compliance, security, and transparency. All records related to insurance transactions, user interactions, and disclosures are securely maintained and accessible for regulatory review.
- Records are retained for a minimum of 5 years from the date of transaction or user interaction.
- Digital records are encrypted and stored in secure, access-controlled environments.
- Customer data is used only for providing services and never shared without consent, unless mandated by law.
- Access to sensitive data is limited to authorized personnel only, in accordance with internal data privacy policies.
Periodic audits are conducted to ensure compliance with data security and retention norms. Requests for data inspection or deletion can be directed to compliance@gocover.in.
